Nana's Quilts

My mom's mom was Nana.  Nana's house was fun because it was "in the country," she would tell us about "the good ole days," we could walk everywhere, she had a huge yard to play in, and there was always good food.

Nana also made quilts. Lots and lots of quilts.  They've been living in a closet, but mom thought I would like to have them for our house. Um, yes!

Most of them were made in the '70s or '80s, and there are some precious fabrics sewn in...

This one was obviously intended for one of us kiddos.

Almost every one is a different quilting pattern.

This is one of two matching, twin-sized quilts.

Seriously? How precious are these details?

I love the little puppies added in this pattern.

Grant is fashioning a ladder-like piece to display some of these in the guest bedroom. (Thanks, dear!)

I'm excited to have Nana's things in my house so that I can see them everyday.
Happy Sunday!
